Information we may hold
Depending on how you use the service, this can include account details, saved venues or deals, business claim information, venue and deal submissions, reports, verification activity and information needed to provide the service.
Basic usage measurement
Teesside.Deals can record privacy-conscious venue, deal and campaign activity to understand what is useful and whether our own marketing is working. We do not need to store raw visitor IP addresses for this. Campaign links such as printed QR cards can use a first-party random visitor token so a later signup, save or business claim can still be credited to that campaign for a limited period.
Business owners
Business accounts may provide contact details and information needed to verify a claim to a venue. Approved owners can manage information associated with venues they are authorised to control.
Security and retention
We use access controls, validation and other application safeguards. Anonymous public forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile and automated abuse checks to distinguish legitimate submissions from spam. Information should only be kept for as long as it is needed for the service, safety, dispute handling or legal obligations.
Your choices
Registered users can update their profile and, where available, delete their account. Some business-owner records may require ownership to be transferred or resolved before deletion.
