Room 21

Room 21 on Yarm Lane is one of the better places in town if you want something to do with your drinks. There are English and American pool tables, snooker, darts, table tennis, poker and private-room options, plus 11 TVs showing live sport.

There’s food too, with burgers, pizzas, wraps, toasties, chicken dishes, nachos and desserts on the menu. It opens from the morning and stays later on Friday and Saturday, so it works for daytime games just as well as an evening session. If your group would rather play pool or watch the football than sit in a normal pub, Room 21 is a good shout.
