Greek Mezetaverna on Linthorpe Road is a long-running Middlesbrough restaurant specialising in Greek and Mediterranean food. Gyros, skewers, moussaka, lamb, grilled fish and seafood all feature, but it’s particularly good for sharing because there are mixed grills and mezze platters designed for two or more people. There are plenty of options if not everyone eats meat too. It works for anything from a quick wrap at lunch to a proper sit-down meal with a table full of different plates.
