The Tipsy Cow

The Tipsy Cow is a proper food pub on Acklam Road with a menu that feels very Teesside without being limited to the usual pub basics. Parmos are one of the obvious choices, but there’s plenty beyond them, including pies, burgers, wraps, pizzas, fish and chips and other familiar pub dishes. Breakfast is served earlier in the day and Sunday lunch is another reason people head here. It’s bigger inside than you might expect from passing it on Acklam Road, with outdoor seating as well, so it works just as well for a meal with the family as it does for a few drinks and some food. It’s an easy option when everyone wants something different without heading into the centre.
